Inventory Reports
Stock on hand, filtered how you need it, and exportable.
The reports screen answers “what do we have, and what is it worth”, narrowed to a warehouse or a category. It reads the ledger as it stands at the moment you run it — it is not a historical report.
1Open it
Go to Inventory → Inventory Reports.
Two filters sit at the top, and both default to everything:
- Warehouse — “stock on hand as the ledger stands now. Leave blank to sum every warehouse.”
- Category — “a parent category includes everything in the categories beneath it.”
Underneath, the report states what it is showing before it shows it — the demo reads All warehouses · All categories · 201 lines · 11 categories — so a number can never be read without knowing what was included in it.
What happens next
The line count is worth reading every time. 201 lines against a catalogue of 203 items means two items are absent from the report, not that they hold nothing — an inactive item, or one filed under a category you filtered out, simply is not there.
A total is only as complete as the filter above it.
